Where Digital Learning meets Education Infrastructure

EdTech UK is a new, focused and highly targeted gathering dedicated to the intersection of education technology and education infrastructure.

Co-located with  Education Estates® on 20-21 October 2026 at Manchester Central, EdTech UK brings together the people who design, manage and fund our learning environments with those shaping the future of digital learning, connectivity, and inclusion.

This event is designed to support schools, colleges and multi-academy trusts in developing joined-up strategies that bring together digital infrastructure and effective teaching and learning. It will provide practical insight into how to plan, deliver and scale infrastructure that meets the demands of modern education while staying aligned with DfE standards.

Attendees will benefit from real-world examples of successful projects, helping them understand what works in practice and how to apply it within their own settings. The event creates space for meaningful conversations between estates, IT and education leaders, enabling a more coordinated approach to decision-making and investment.

With a strong focus on digital inclusion and long-term sustainability, the programme will highlight best practice, emerging innovation and opportunities for collaboration with industry partners. Participants will leave with clear, actionable ideas, along with access to frameworks, resources and case studies that can support implementation and future planning

Why now?

Across the UK, schools, colleges, universities and trusts are under pressure to meet evolving digital standards, improve infrastructure readiness, and ensure inclusive, sustainable approaches to education delivery.
At the same time, the learning environment itself – from connectivity and space flexibility to smart systems and energy use – plays a critical role in supporting successful digital strategies.

EdTech UK aims to bring these conversations together in one space!
